Dexter’s Thoughts
Showdown have there first show of the year at a club on broad st Birmingham, there shows are always entertaining with a mixes of experience and novice fighters.
The only real fight that has caught my eye is Ogbeide v Thomas a 50/50 fight for Ogbeide’s Showdown title and also for the Birmingham Boxing Column’s Challenge belt. Unfortunately I will not be at this show as I am refereeing on the Fists of Fury show at the H-Suite Edgebaston on the same night so the challenge belt will be presented to the winner hopefully on Welcome to Fightden. The Birmingham Boxing Column wishes all the fighters the best of luck and that all come out of the show safe and well.
