Fight 1
Sean Daly v Kevin McCauley
Middleweight
4 X 3
Daly looked slick at the start of his debut, he worked the head and the body well with McCauley could only cover up to see the end of the round. The second round was another good round for Daly, he controlled the round from start to finish with some great combinations. Daly dominated the third controlling the ring and dictating the pace with great shot selection. The forth and final round was again dominated by Daly who threw some cracking combinations and great straight rights to the body. McCauley tried to make a fight of it but Daly just stepped up the pace to win the round.

Fight 2
Tion Gibbs v Lee Conelley
4 X 3
welterweight
Gibbs took his time in the first round and showed his class working behind his jab and putting in some great slick combinations together. The second saw Gibbs start the round well, but then seemed to ease off the pace in the middle of the round. Conelley got some good shots in at this point which woke Gibbs up and he got back to his boxing and won the round. The third saw Conelley asked the young Eastside fighter questions as he pressed forward looking for a tare up. Gibbs answered him by giving him what he wanted and in my opinion answering his questions. The final round saw Gibbs start with some slick moves and making some good angles putting in some nice combinations, Conelley then drew Gibbs into a scrap which didn't favor Gibbs. Gibbs eventually got back to his boxing and edged the round.

Ref - 40 - 38
Gibbs wins on points

Fight 3
Louis Fielding v Joe Brown
4 X 3
Scrappy first round with Fielding edging the round with the better boxing. The second was another scrappy one, but when Fielding started to boxes he got some great shots off, he even used some of the brawling to put combinations together on the inside. Third round saw Fielding take control of the fight getting cracking shots off and winning the round in style. The final round saw Fielding who had grown in confidence through this fight win it convincingly with some cracking combinations and some slick movement.

Fight 4
Kaisee Benjamin v Danny Little
4 X 3
In the first round Benjamin showed some great movement with some nice combinations and some hurtful body shots. The saw Benjamin control the round like a veteran pro holding the centre of the ring and banging in some great combinations. Benjamin continued to control the fight in the third but you had to give Little some credit for taking some heavy body shots. The forth and final round saw Benjamin showed off his movement and skills with some very slick boxing and great combinations to win the fight.
Verdict
Dexter - 40 - 36
Ref - 40 - 36
Benjamin wins on points
Fight 5
Tom Silcox V Paul Cummings
4 X 3
Silcox controlled the first round but just seemed to be waiting a bit to long before getting his shots off. Silcox finished finished the round with some good heavy combinations to the head and body. The second saw Silcox step up the pace catching Cummings with some nice combinations. Cummings to his credit tried to make a fight of it but Silcox was to strong and to slick for him. In round three Silcox came out strong with some great combinations to the body and head. Cummings covered up well and had some joy himself with some combinations of his own but Silcox done more than enough to win the round. Silcox pressed Cummings in the final round and banged in some hurtful combinations, Cummings again came back with some combos of his own to make the final round a cracker.

Fight 6
Main Event
Ryan Kelly v Devidas Satcuka
6 X 3
Middleweight
Kelly looked sharp from the first bell with great movement and control, Kelly's shot selection was on another level with some classy combinations. Kelly bossed the second round and banged in some hurtful body shots. Satcuka showed great resilience to get through the round but had no answer for Kelly's work rate and power. In the third round Kelly took his opponent apart with some big combinations to the body and the head. How Satcuka got to the end of the round was a miracle as the ref could have stepped in on several occasion to end it.
Satcuka retired in his corner as he had sustained a injury to his eye.
Verdict
Kelly wins 4 round stoppage

Dexter's Thoughts
What a great start to the new boxing season for TOPromotions, six great fights with the home team having a clean sweep. The 4 Eastside lads Daly, Benjamin, Gibbs and Kelly all showed their boxing skills off with solid victories. Daly' s debut could not had gone more to plan with great combos and shot selection. Benjamin looked slick in his second pro fight and showed power and skill to win every round. I thought the ref was a bit harsh on Gibbs as I thought he did enough in every round to win them all. I did feel Gibbs got drawn into a tare up at times which suited his opponent as you can see Gibbs is a classy boxer who doesn’t need to be drawn into tare ups. Ryan Kelly looked another level tonight and it was great to see him back to winning ways. His shot selection, movement and power where on point and with Kelly informing the column that he is looking to move down to super welter/welterweight if he bring his power with his he will be looking for titles very soon.
Tom Silcox looked excellent tonight again great shot selection and movement and I think he should move up to 6 rounders soon. It was great to see Fielding back on winning ways, he grew in conference during his fight and looked good. With Fielding fighting In the BCB super series at super featherweight on October 15th this was exactly what he needed.
The Birmingham Boxing Column would like to thank Tommy Owen for having us there and I would also like to welcome James Deen to the Birmingham Boxing Column's family as our new photographer and camera man.
