Showy Wins his 3rd fight in the Big Smoke
Birmingham's Flyweight Reiss Taylor aka Showy had his 3rd pro fight at the legendary York Hall Bethnal Green and claimed a great second round stoppage. The smallest fighter in the UK standing at 4 foot 11 had 2 months notice for this fight against Jack Smith from Cambridge who was also having his third fight. Showy who is now starting to get a big following in London as well as Birmingham told the column “Smith tried to keep it long, but I walked him down and caught him with a over hand right to get a second round stoppage”. I then asked Showy what his plans were for next year? The larger than life character informed me “for next year I want to keep progressing and have another 3 or 4 fights and stay active, then look for titles”.
Dexter’s Thoughts
Showy is starting to make waves as he claims his 2nd win in 3 fights with all his fights being in London which has got him a good following down thier. Showy is looking to fight 3 or 4 times next year and hopefully some of them will be in Birmingham if they are the column will be there to see Showy show off his skills.
