Wolverhampton’s Delicious Orie started his professional career with a dominant victory on Queensberry promotions first show on DAZN. The Moscow born twenty-seven-year-old heavyweight took on Bosnian born Milos Veletic (27) in a four three-minute rounds contest on the show which was called ‘Heavy Impact’. Six foot six Orie weighed in 17 stone seven with Veletic coming in twenty stone thirteen with Steve Gray reffing this heavyweight contest.

Great start for Orie on his professional debut who took his time using his jab well to set up his backhand which landed several times. Veletic was just looking to stay away and keep out of trouble as Orie dominated the round. Orie again dominated the second with some great jabs and backhands, Vwas just looking to move and cover up and was riding Orie’s shots well to survive the round.
Orie stepped it up in the third but Veletic seemed to be able to ride Orie’s shots with ease and looked constable in there even though he was losing the rounds and hardly threw a punch. Orie continued to work well and win the round with ease. Orie continued to land some good shots at the start of the final round with Veletic looking like he was feeling them. Veletic continued to move well and stay out of trouble with Orie dominating the round and the contest.

Ref Steve Grey scored it 40 to 36 Orie I had it the same.
Dexter’s Thoughts
Dominant performance by Delicious Orie as he won all four rounds on his first professional contest live on DAZN for Queensberry promotions. You could see that Orie really wanted to make a big statement on his debut on such a big platform but his opponent just seemed to be able to judge Orie’s shots and was able to ride his heavy back hands to survive the contest. It was a dominant performance by Orie but because of Veletic’s negative approach to the contest we could not really judge how good Orie will be at a professional. It is probably good that Orie completed the four rounds for the experience and will have learned a lot about how the pro game works. I have no doubt that Delicious Orie has a great career a head of him and I am looking forward to seeing him fighting for titles in less than ten contests as I think he is that good.
