Former British Champion Zach Parker will be fighting live on Sky sports for the WBO super Middleweight International title on December 4th. The unbeaten 26 year old from Derby will be taking on the Spanish fighter Cesar Nunez (35). Nunez has an impressive record of 17 wins and 1 draw out of 20 contests. The former Spanish Middleweight champ has also fought for the GBU World and IBO International titles both at super Middleweight. Parker who has a perfect record of 19 fights without defeat beat Darrell Williams in November 2018 on a split decision to claim the British Super
Middleweight title. Parker then went on and stopped Rohan Murdock in the 11th round on March of this year claiming the WBO intercontinental super Middleweight title.
This fight will feature on the undercard of the Billy Joe Saunders against Martin Murray fight for the WBO world super Middleweight title which is promoted by Matchroom.
Dexter’s Thought’s
Looking at this fight it should be a very straight forward victory for Parker, but you can never discount an old boxer having one more big fight in him. Nunez record is decent and will give Parker a good platform to showcase his boxing skills. This will be Parkers second WBO title and I’m sure he will have one eye on the big one. I think if he wins well on this show he should be given a shot at Billy Joe Saunders and his WBO world title.
