In the home corner you had 4 unbeaten fighters and one fighter making his debut. Refereeing on the night was Pete McCormick and judging the fights was ‘A star’ ref Kevin Parker.
Elliot Hurley from Birmingham was making his debut tonight and got his career off to a great start as he took on Paul Scaife over four rounds in the super Lightweight division, Hurley got the win with the score cards reading 40 to 37 in his favour.
Unbeaten fighter Elliot Sowe (24) from Birmingham was looking to make it five wins in a row against Kirk Stevens (32) who had lost both of his previous fights and was looking to get his first win. The welterweight fight went the full 4 rounds with judge Kevin Parker scoring it 40 to 36 in favour of Stevens who earn his first win as a pro boxer.
Levi Smith (21) from Doncaster put his unbeaten record on the line against Liam Richards (36) in a 4 round super lightweight fight. Smith won in good fashion winning every round with a score of 40 to 36 taking his unbeaten record to 5 without defeat.
Craig Brewin (28) from Wittering was taking on ring veteran Paul Cummings in a Welterweight contest over 4 rounds. Brewin took his record to 3 without defeat winning every round with a score of 40 to 36.
Oli Cassidy (25) from Birmingham who was unbeaten as a pro in 5 fights was looking to make it 6 in a row against George Rogers (27) from Whetstone in a 4 round Middleweight contest. Cassidy didn’t put a foot wrong as he won every round with Kevin Parker scoring it 40 to 36 in Cassidy’s favour.
