Dexter’s Thoughts
What a great performance by Walker against an unbeaten fighter who had come to win. Walker eased his way into the fight in the first round with Germain using his jab well and it did seem like it was going to be a tough night for ‘The Wolf’. But I was so wrong, Walker just came out firing in the second dropping Germain three times in the third round in a sensational stoppage victory. This was a very impressive victory and Walker was looking to take on the best in the welterweight division. Walker has continued to improve and is definitely in the mix of the top boxers at British and European level. Now he has made a statement twice on Matchroom promotions shows in his last two fights I’m sure they will be backing him to contest for bigger titles. Conah Walker is a fantastic fighter and is getting better with every fight he has the potential to claim British, European, and maybe even world honors. The Birmingham Boxing Column looks forward following this great boxer's career.
